IDF Eliminates 106 Terrorists, Including Key Hamas and Islamic Jihad Commanders Involved in October 7 Massacre
Dec 31, 2024, 05:32 PM
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency have announced the elimination of several key Hamas and Islamic Jihad commanders involved in the October 7th massacre. Since late November, 14 Hamas members, including six who participated in the massacre, have been located and eliminated. In recent operations in Jabalia and northern Gaza, IDF ground troops eliminated 106 terrorists within two hours, including approximately 50 who attempted to flee under the cover of fog and rain. Utilizing intelligence on planned escapes, units from the 401st Armored Brigade, Givati Brigade, and the elite Multidomain Unit targeted and eliminated these operatives. Notably, the IDF eliminated Abd al-Hadi Sabah, a commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba force who led the attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz, while he was operating from a shelter in the Humanitarian Area in Khan Yunis. Additionally, Anas Muhammad Saadi Masri, the commander of Islamic Jihad's rocket unit in northern Gaza responsible for directing rocket fire on Israel during the October 7th massacre, was also eliminated. These operations aim to dismantle the terror networks and prevent future attacks on Israel.
