The U.S. State Department has acknowledged the critical role played by President-elect Donald Trump's team in securing a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller stated that the involvement of Trump's team was 'absolutely critical in getting this deal over the line.'
