Trump's Team Critical in Securing Israel-Hamas Ceasefire and Gaza Hostage Deal by January 20
Jan 15, 2025, 08:31 PM
The U.S. State Department has acknowledged the critical role played by President-elect Donald Trump's team in securing a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas. State Department Spokesman Matthew Miller stated that the involvement of Trump's team was 'absolutely critical in getting this deal over the line.' The ceasefire, which also addresses the hostage situation in Gaza, is set to be completed by January 20, 2025, just before the end of the current administration's term. The State Department expressed gratitude towards the Trump team for their efforts in facilitating the agreement.
