Israeli President Denies Connection to Deadly Lebanon Pager Bombings
Sep 22, 2024, 11:57 AM
Israel's Permanent Representative to the United Nations has refused to admit that Israel is behind the pager bombings in Lebanon. The President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, has also denied any connection to the deadly attacks caused by exploding pagers and walkie-talkies in Lebanon. Herzog stated, 'I reject out of hand any connection to this or that.' The incident, which occurred this week, has led to significant tension between the two countries. The denial from Tel Aviv came on Sunday.
