Khamenei Calls for Muslim Solidarity with Hezbollah Amid Lebanon-Israel Tensions, Cites Hassan Nasrallah
Sep 28, 2024, 10:32 AM
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has issued a strong statement in response to recent developments in Lebanon, calling for Muslim solidarity with Hezbollah. Khamenei emphasized that it is obligatory for all Muslims to support the Lebanese people and Hezbollah against what he described as a 'usurping, cruel, and evil regime.' He declared that Lebanon will make Israel regret its actions, referencing historical instances where Hezbollah successfully defended Lebanon. Khamenei also highlighted the unity of resistance forces in the region, stating that all forces of resistance back Hezbollah. He referred to Israel as the 'malicious Zionist entity' and called for offering resources and assistance to Hezbollah. This is Khamenei's first speech since the claimed killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
