The orders instruct federal agencies to 'cease pretending that men can be women and women can be men' and prohibit the use of government funds for 'gender ideology.' In his inauguration speech and remarks at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trump stated, 'I've made it the official policy of the United States that there are only two genders, male and female. We will have no men participating in women's sports.' He further indicated that 'transgender operations, which became the rage, will occur very rarely.'
