Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary has announced that he is joining with billionaire Frank McCourt in a bid to acquire TikTok from its Chinese parent company ByteDance to prevent the app from being banned in the United States. The multibillion-dollar deal aims to be finalized by January 19th. O'Leary plans to rewrite TikTok's algorithm to address security concerns.
