VisitFive Rockets from Iranian-backed Forces Hit US Base in Syria, Minor Damage Reported

At least five rockets were launched from the northern Iraqi towns of Mosul and Zummar towards the US military base Kharab al-Jir in northeastern Syria, according to multiple reports. The rockets, reportedly launched by Iranian-backed forces, impacted the base with three out of the five rockets causing minor damage. This incident marks the first such attack since early February, when Iranian-backed groups in Iraq halted their attacks against US troops.
