Iranian President and Foreign Minister Die in Helicopter Crash in East Azerbaijan

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian have died in a helicopter crash. The crash occurred in a mountainous area of East Azerbaijan province under icy weather conditions. All passengers on board, including other officials, were also killed. The wreckage was found after an hours-long search. Raisi was 63 years old. Iranian state media and officials have confirmed the deaths.
