Visit75 Infected, 22 Hospitalized in McDonald's E. Coli Outbreak Across 13 States

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have reported that 75 people have been infected in an E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald's Quarter Pounder hamburgers. This number has increased from 49 cases reported just three days ago. The CDC has indicated that the true number of sick individuals is likely much higher than initially reported. The outbreak has affected individuals in 13 states, and 22 people have been hospitalized. The CDC warns that the number of infections will rise.
