TikTok to Auto-Label AI Content from DALL-E 3, Adobe's Firefly Globally
May 9, 2024, 12:00 PM
TikTok has announced a new measure to enhance transparency and combat misinformation by automatically labeling AI-generated content. This initiative, effective immediately, applies to content uploaded from specific platforms, including those using AI tools like OpenAI's DALL-E 3 and Adobe's Firefly. The social media giant aims to clearly distinguish between real and AI-generated images and videos, especially ahead of elections, by using special watermarks and Adobe's Content Credentials metadata. This move makes TikTok the first global platform to implement such an automatic labeling system for AI-generated content.
