TikTok has announced a new measure to enhance transparency and combat misinformation by automatically labeling AI-generated content. This initiative, effective immediately, applies to content uploaded from specific platforms, including those using AI tools like OpenAI's DALL-E 3 and Adobe's Firefly. The social media giant aims to clearly distinguish between real and AI-generated images and videos, especially ahead of elections, by using special watermarks and Adobe's Content Credentials metadata.
