The United States has disclosed that Russia has agreed to trade MiG-29 and Su-27 fighter jets to North Korea in exchange for North Korean troops to assist in Moscow's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. According to Adm. Samuel Paparo, commander of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, this deal signifies a deepening military cooperation between Russia and North Korea. North Korean troops are currently stationed in the Kursk region of Russia, ready to engage in hostilities against Ukraine at any time, as stated by Sabrina Singh, a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Defense.
