President Donald Trump confirmed that Microsoft is in talks to acquire TikTok and expressed his desire for a bidding war over the popular social media platform. Speaking at a Republican conference in Florida, Trump stated, "We're going to have a lot of people bidding on it. We don't want China involved." He emphasized that China should not be involved in TikTok's operations and indicated that there is significant interest in the app. "There's great interest in TikTok," he told reporters aboard Air Force One.
