Islamic Revolution Leader Khamenei Calls US Embodiment of Colonialism, Arrogance Under Financial Powers' Influence
Jan 28, 2025, 09:00 AM
Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has described the United States as the embodiment of colonialism and arrogance in today's world. Speaking during a meeting with Iranian officials and ambassadors of Muslim countries in Tehran on the occasion of Eid al-Mab’ath, marking the Prophet Muhammad's divine appointment as the final messenger of God, he stated that the US is under the influence of the world's leading financial powers. Khamenei highlighted that these powers have their sights set on the natural resources, authentic culture, and national and Islamic identity of countries and nations, aiming to destroy or plunder them through what he described as the three stages of colonialism. He also mentioned the resistance movement, which he said began in Iran and has awakened Muslim nations, referencing the impact of Gaza against the US-supported Zionist regime and the resilience of Hezbollah following the martyrdom of its leader, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
