Israel Reportedly Kills Hezbollah's Salim Ayyash in Al-Qusayr Airstrike
Nov 10, 2024, 02:47 PM
Reports have emerged suggesting that Israel has eliminated Salim Ayyash, a Hezbollah operative implicated in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Ayyash, who was convicted by a UN Tribunal and sentenced in absentia to five life sentences for his role in the 2005 assassination, was reportedly killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Syrian town of Al-Qusayr on November 5. Ayyash was a senior operative in Hezbollah’s Unit 121.
