IDF Deploys 91st Division to Southern Lebanon Amid Intensified Operations with Golani Brigade Against Hezbollah

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified their ground operations in southern Lebanon, deploying a third division, the 91st 'Galilee' Division, to the region. This division joins the Golani Brigade, Etzioni Brigade, and other units already engaged in the area. The IDF has been conducting targeted raids on Hezbollah's combat compounds, uncovering large caches of weapons and tunnel shafts hidden in civilian homes. The operations have revealed that Hezbollah has been storing heavy weaponry in nearly every home in some villages, endangering civilians. Footage released by the IDF shows Hezbollah weapons depots being destroyed. The 91st Division, which includes the Alexandroni, Hazen, and North Nahal reserve brigades, is now part of the expanded effort to clear Hezbollah infrastructure and weapons from southern Lebanon. The Radwan Forces have also been identified as preparing for Hezbollah activities.
