The father of Akshay Shinde, the accused in the Badlapur sexual assault case who was killed in an alleged police encounter, has approached the Bombay High Court seeking a burial spot for his son. The court has directed that all case papers be handed over to the state CID, which will conduct a probe into Shinde's death.
