An Indian Army officer and his fiancée have alleged that they were beaten and harassed by Odisha Police while in custody at the Bharatpur police station in Bhubaneswar. The incident reportedly occurred after the couple filed a road-rage complaint. The couple claims custodial assault and harassment. In response to the allegations, the Odisha Police have transferred the case to the Crime Branch-CID for further investigation.
