VisitTaiwan and Hungary Deny Involvement in Tuesday's Hezbollah Pager Explosions Killing 12
Sep 20, 2024, 02:49 AM
A series of explosions involving pagers used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon on Tuesday has led to an international investigation. The explosions, which resulted in the deaths of at least 12 people, have been linked to a Taiwanese pager manufacturer. However, the Taiwanese company denies making the devices, stating they were produced by a Hungarian partner. Both Taiwan and Hungary have denied any state contracts or involvement in the manufacturing of the pagers. Authorities in Taiwan have questioned two individuals from Taiwanese companies, including Hsu Ching-Kuang, as part of the probe.
