Azerbaijan has added the JF-17C Block III Thunder fighter jet to its inventory as part of a $1.6 billion deal with Pakistan. The advanced multi-role fighter jets were developed through a collaboration between the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of China. President Ilham Aliyev confirmed the integration of these jets into the Azerbaijani Air Force. Reports indicate that a total of 60 aircraft were purchased.
