Azerbaijan has added the JF-17C Block III Thunder multirole fighter jet to its inventory, following a $1.6 billion deal with Pakistan. The fighter jet, developed through a collaboration between the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC) of China, has been integrated into the Azerbaijani Air Force. President Ilham Aliyev confirmed the acquisition. Pakistan's military announced the recently signed contract as part of its efforts to enhance defense cooperation with friendly countries.
