Russia Begins Evacuating 60 Citizens from Lebanon, Led by Alexander Kurenkov

Russia has begun evacuating its citizens from Lebanon, according to the Russian Emergencies Ministry. The evacuation includes a special flight that left Beirut with the family members of Russian diplomats. About 60 people have been evacuated so far, and approximately three thousand Russian and other CIS citizens have expressed a desire to leave Lebanon. The Russian Emergencies Ministry, led by Alexander Kurenkov, is also prepared to provide humanitarian assistance to Lebanon.
