Ajit Prasad, son of Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Awadhesh Prasad, has been charged with kidnapping, assault, and issuing threats following a land deal commission dispute in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The victim, Rohit Tiwari, reported that Ajit Prasad, along with others, abducted him using multiple SUVs in Kotwali Nagar. The police have filed an FIR against Ajit Prasad and his accomplices. Ajit Prasad has also been fielded by SP for the Milkipur bypoll.
