In the Kannauj rape case, forensic evidence has confirmed the involvement of Nawab Singh Yadav, a former Samajwadi Party leader, in the rape of a minor. The DNA test results, which matched Yadav's DNA with that of the victim's body fluid, were received after 16 days. Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Anand stated that the forensic evidence collected from the crime scene corroborated the incident of rape.
