A Palestinian man attacked a 40-year-old Israeli security guard with a hammer at the Bar-On Industrial Park in the West Bank, before stealing his weapon and fleeing the scene. The attack has prompted a massive manhunt by the Israel Defense Force and security forces near the town of Kdumim. The victim, who was seriously wounded in the assault, has been taken to Rabin Medical Center in critical condition. Residents of a nearby settlement have been advised to stay indoors as the search continues.
