Israel Implements Retired General's 'Surrender or Starve' Plan, Planning Months-Long Siege of Gaza Affecting 400,000 Palestinians
Oct 13, 2024, 05:36 AM
According to reports from Israeli media and international sources, Israel's military is implementing a plan, referred to as the 'surrender or starve' strategy, developed by a retired general. This involves a possible months-long siege of northern Gaza, aiming to besiege and starve Palestinians who remain in the region, particularly targeting areas such as the Jabalia refugee camp. The plan could force up to 400,000 Palestinians out of their homes. The strategy seeks to increase hardship in order to reverse the Israel Defense Forces’ (IDF) inability to achieve strategic goals that have so far eluded them. Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper, has reported that everyone who remains in the northern Gaza Strip may be besieged and starved under this plan.
