Four Suspects Seen Placing Explosives Before Deadly New Orleans Attack; Pipe Bombs, ISIS Flag Found
Jan 1, 2025, 08:18 PM
Investigators have reviewed video footage showing three men and a woman placing explosives in connection with a deadly car attack in New Orleans' French Quarter on New Year's Eve. The attack occurred on Bourbon Street and resulted in the deaths of at least 10 people. Pipe bombs and guns were found in the truck used, wired for remote detonation, and an ISIS flag was reportedly discovered inside the vehicle. The FBI stated they do not believe the driver acted alone. Authorities are analyzing surveillance footage, according to a Louisiana State Police bulletin obtained by the Associated Press, showing the suspects placing improvised explosive devices near the attack site.
