FBI Says Jabbar Did Not Act Alone in New Orleans Vehicle-Ramming; At Least 10 Dead
Jan 1, 2025, 07:22 PM
The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that they do not believe 42-year-old Texas resident Shamsud-Din Jabbar acted alone in the deadly vehicle-ramming attack in New Orleans. The FBI is seeking public assistance in identifying possible associates of Jabbar. The attack occurred on Bourbon Street, where at least 10 people were killed. An ISIS flag was found in the vehicle he drove, and authorities are investigating possible affiliations with terrorist organizations. Two improvised explosive devices were also found in the French Quarter. FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Aletha Duncan stated, 'We do not believe that Jabbar was solely responsible. We are aggressively running down every lead, including those of his known associates.'
