Biden: U.S. Probes Link Between New Orleans Attack and Cybertruck Explosion at Trump Hotel in Las Vegas
Jan 2, 2025, 12:16 AM
President Joe Biden announced Wednesday evening that U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies are investigating a possible connection between the terrorist attack in New Orleans and the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. In his address to the nation, Biden stated, "We are tracking the explosion of a Cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. Law enforcement and the intelligence community are investigating this as well, including whether there is any possible connection with the attack in New Orleans." The New Orleans attack, which occurred earlier on Wednesday, resulted in 15 fatalities after a truck was driven into a crowd. Biden has directed his team to ensure that all resources are available to support local, state, and federal law enforcement efforts in the investigations.
