Jan 1, 2025, 11:21 PM
A drunk gunman killed at least 12 people, including two children, in the village of Bajice near Montenegro's historic capital, Cetinje, on Wednesday, after initiating a shooting spree that began following a fight in a restaurant, officials said Thursday. The 45-year-old assailant, identified as Aleksandar Martinovic, opened fire in the restaurant and continued shooting at multiple locations before dying from self-inflicted wounds when cornered by police. Several others were wounded in the attack. The government has declared three days of national mourning for the victims.
