7-Year-Old Girl Killed, Teacher Critical in Knife Attack by Former Student at Zagreb School

A 19-year-old former student attacked Prečko Elementary School in Zagreb, Croatia, on Friday, killing a 7-year-old girl and injuring six others, including five children and a teacher who is in critical condition, officials said. The attacker entered the school just before 10 am and attacked the first classroom he came across, reportedly targeting a teacher. He was detained by police. Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic expressed his horror at the incident.
