Israeli Fighter Jets Strike Tyre in Southern Lebanon, Seven Killed, 46 Wounded
Nov 9, 2024, 01:15 AM
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted precision air strikes on the coastal city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah command and control facilities and intelligence centers. The Israeli Air Force (IAF) used fighter jets to carry out the strikes, which led to massive destruction, including the flattening of three buildings. Initial reports from the Lebanese National News Agency stated that three people were killed and more than 30 wounded, but Lebanon's health ministry later confirmed at least seven fatalities and 46 injuries. The IDF stated that the strikes were intelligence-based and aimed at sites from which Hezbollah commanders and terrorists operated.
