Israeli Airstrike Burns Tents at Gaza Hospital, Killing Four, Injuring Over 70

An Israeli airstrike on the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, killed at least four people and injured over 70, according to Palestinian medical sources. The strike targeted tents housing displaced Palestinians, setting fire to over 30 tents and causing people to be burned alive. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) stated that they carried out the strike targeting a Hamas command and control center located in a compound adjacent to the hospital. The IDF claimed that Hamas was using the compound to conduct operations against Israeli forces. Local sources reported this was the seventh attack on the hospital compound. The attack occurred late Sunday night, adding to the escalating violence in the region.
