Musk, who invested a quarter-billion dollars in Trump's campaign, moved into the cottage around Election Day and left briefly for the holiday season but is expected to return. The proximity to Trump enables Musk to participate in high-level meetings and discussions, including a dinner with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.
