Israel Begins Construction in Syria's Demilitarized Zone, UN Confirms
Nov 11, 2024, 04:40 PM
Satellite photos analyzed by the Associated Press reveal that Israel has begun construction along a demilitarized zone in Syria. The United Nations has confirmed that Israeli troops entered the demilitarized zone, which is a violation of the cease-fire rules in the area. The construction efforts include trench digging and road paving within the buffer zone on the Syrian side of the Israel-Syria border. UN tells AP about the Israeli troops' entry.
