Turkey Condemns Israel's Violation of 1974 Agreement in Syria

Turkey has condemned Israel's military actions in Syria, labeling them as a threat to peace and stability. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly destroyed 480 targets in Syria, including naval and military installations, following the collapse of the Ba'ath regime. Israel has temporarily entered the buffer zone between the Golan Heights and Syria, a move that violates the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has stated that this deployment is temporary, aimed at ensuring security on Israel's borders until a force compliant with the 1974 agreement can be established.
