The Mexican Foreign Affairs Ministry has clarified that while the country will accept its own nationals, it will not serve as a 'safe third country' for migrants of other nationalities. On the occasion of the Día Internacional del Migrante, Sheinbaum presented the 'Himno Migrante', a song dedicated to the over 12 million Mexicans living in the US. Additionally, Mexico is implementing a legal defense strategy and simplifying procedures to support its citizens facing potential deportation.
