The series is based on the best-selling novel by Marissa Stapley and is produced by Reese Witherspoon's company, Hello Sunshine, alongside Jonathan Tropper. 'Lucky' follows the story of a young woman, portrayed by Taylor-Joy, who attempts to escape her past life of crime, only to find herself drawn back into that world one last time.
