Netflix's 'The Electric State' Second Trailer Out, Russo Brothers' Film Premieres March 14, 2025
Dec 18, 2024, 01:58 PM
Netflix has released the second trailer for 'The Electric State,' a new sci-fi film directed by the Russo Brothers, set to premiere on the streaming platform on March 14, 2025. The movie stars Millie Bobby Brown as Michelle, an orphaned teenager on a quest to find her lost younger brother, Christopher, and Chris Pratt as Keats, a smuggler who joins her journey. The film is set in a retro-futuristic version of the 1990s, where sentient robots, once peaceful, now live in exile after a failed uprising. The narrative follows Michelle as she teams up with Keats and his robot sidekick, Herman, voiced by Anthony Mackie, and is visited by Cosmo, a mysterious robot voiced by Alan Tudyk, controlled by Christopher. Together, they navigate the American Southwest and enter the Exclusion Zone, a desert area where robots exist independently. The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Ke Huy Quan, Anthony Mackie, Stanley Tucci, and Giancarlo Esposito, among others, with additional voice talent from Brian Cox and Jenny Slate.
