Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that Moscow sees 'nothing particularly new' in Trump's remarks, noting that during Trump's first term, he frequently used sanctions. Despite this, Peskov emphasized Russia's openness to dialogue, awaiting signals from Washington which have not yet been received. Trump's comments were made on Truth Social, where he urged Putin to reach an agreement with Ukraine immediately, threatening economic measures if no deal is struck soon.
