Jan 23, 2025, 09:33 PM
Ukrainian forces have launched drone attacks on the Russian city of Ryazan, targeting both an oil refinery operated by Rosneft and the Dyagilevo military air base. The oil refinery was hit by at least 10 drones, resulting in at least 12 explosions and a visible fire. Reports indicate that Russian air defenses were activated in response to the drone activity. Additionally, the Dyagilevo military air base, which houses Tu-95 and Tu-22 aircraft and is adjacent to the 360th aircraft repair plant, was also attacked, with at least one explosion reported. The attacks on Ryazan are part of a broader pattern of Ukrainian drone assaults on various regions across Russia.
