Ukrainian drones launched an attack on the Kristall Complex oil depot in the Russian city of Engels, located in the Saratov region, causing a significant fire at the facility. The targeted depot supplies fuel to the Engels-2 military airfield, which is home to Russia's strategic aviation fleet. The strike resulted in numerous explosions and a large-scale fire, as reported by the Ukrainian General Staff and local residents. The regional governor, Roman Busargin, confirmed the attack, noting that it caused damage to an industrial facility but reported no casualties. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defenses intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian drones overnight across several regions, including Saratov.
