Trump Names Ex-Adviser Kellogg as Ukraine Envoy to Secure 'Peace Through Strength'
Nov 27, 2024, 06:38 PM
President-elect Donald Trump has nominated retired Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg, 80, as Assistant to the President and Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia. Kellogg, who previously served as National Security Adviser to Vice President Mike Pence during Trump's first term, has presented a plan to end the war in Ukraine by pushing both Kyiv and Moscow towards negotiations. The plan reportedly includes freezing combat along the current frontlines. Trump stated, 'Together, we will secure peace through strength.' Kellogg has warned that the world is on the 'precipice of World War III.'
