Heavy gunfire erupted near the presidential palace in Chad's capital, N'Djamena, on Wednesday evening. According to multiple reports including AFP and Al Jazeera, armed men attacked the vicinity of the palace, leading to exchanges of fire. Security forces, including convoys of military vehicles, were deployed to the area, and the attack was repelled. Infrastructure Minister Aziz Mahamat Saleh stated that the situation is under control.
