Gunfire erupted near the presidential palace in N'Djamena, Chad's capital, on Wednesday evening. According to reports from multiple sources, including AFP and residents, heavy gunfire was heard in the vicinity of the palace. Witnesses reported convoys of military vehicles heading toward the presidency. Some sources, such as Al Arabiya, indicated that Boko Haram militants carried out an attack near the palace, resulting in casualties.
