YouTube Unveils AI Tools, Integrates Veo into Shorts
Sep 18, 2024, 02:51 PM
YouTube has announced a series of new artificial intelligence (AI) tools designed to enhance the creative process for its content creators. At the Made on YouTube event, CEO Neal Mohan revealed that the platform will integrate Google DeepMind's AI model, Veo, into YouTube Shorts. This integration will enable creators to generate high-quality backgrounds and six-second standalone clips via Dream Screen. Additionally, YouTube Studio now includes an Inspiration tab that uses AI to help creators brainstorm video ideas, generate titles, and create thumbnails. Starting next year, any video short can be generated by prompt using Veo. These updates aim to empower creators by leveraging AI to unlock new forms of expression and support long-lasting businesses. Notably, 92% of creators are already using AI tools.
