YouTube Unveils AI Tools, Integrates Veo for Shorts

YouTube has announced a series of new AI-powered tools aimed at enhancing content creation on its platform. At the Made on YouTube event, CEO Neal Mohan revealed that creators can now use AI to brainstorm video ideas, generate titles, and create full videos. The new features include the integration of Google DeepMind's Veo model into YouTube Shorts, allowing for the creation of high-quality backgrounds and six-second clips via Dream Screen. Additionally, the YouTube Studio app now includes an Inspiration tab for generating video concepts, titles, and thumbnails. These tools are designed to empower creators by providing them with advanced AI capabilities to enhance their creativity and productivity. The company also highlighted that 92% of its creators are already utilizing AI tools. The new AI features are expected to be released by the end of 2023.
