The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a significant counterterrorism operation in Tulkarem, West Bank, resulting in the elimination of several key militant leaders. The operation, which included airstrikes and ground clashes, targeted armed terrorists and resulted in the deaths of Ashraf Nafeh, the head of Hamas in Tulkarem, and Muhammad Abu Abdo, the commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. The IDF reported that the operation, part of a larger series of over 50 counterterrorism actions, also involved the killing of a female militant disguised as a medic.
