VisitIDF Overnight Operation in Tulkarem Eliminates Six Gunmen, Including Key Militant Leaders

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a significant counterterrorism operation in Tulkarem, West Bank, resulting in the elimination of several key militant leaders. The operation, which included airstrikes and ground clashes, targeted armed terrorists and resulted in the deaths of Ashraf Nafeh, the head of Hamas in Tulkarem, and Muhammad Abu Abdo, the commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades. The IDF reported that the operation, part of a larger series of over 50 counterterrorism actions, also involved the killing of a female militant disguised as a medic. Palestinian sources confirmed that at least six gunmen were killed in the strikes. The operation was carried out overnight by the Menashe Brigade, with Palestinian reports indicating five killed.
