A devastating fuel tanker explosion in Niger State, Nigeria, has claimed the lives of at least 52 people and resulted in the deaths of 50 cows. The incident occurred on Sunday at 00:30 local time when a fuel tanker collided head-on with a truck carrying passengers and cattle. The collision led to a massive explosion that engulfed both vehicles and other nearby cars. The victims, who were burnt beyond recognition, were given a mass burial near the accident site in the Agaie Local Government Area. Rescue operations are ongoing at the site.
