IDF Eliminates Hamas Commander Ahmed Fozi Wadiya Responsible for October 7 Netiv Ha'asara Massacre

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of Ahmed Fozi Nasser Muhammad Wadiya, a commander of Hamas's elite Nukhba unit and a member of its paragliding unit, in a joint operation with Shin Bet. Wadiya was responsible for leading the massacre in Netiv Ha'asara on October 7, where he murdered Gil Taasa in front of his children and was filmed drinking Coca-Cola from the Taesa family's fridge. The operation also resulted in the neutralization of eight other Hamas combatants, including a prominent terror engineer. Wadiya's actions on October 7 were widely condemned, and his elimination marks a significant development in Israel's ongoing efforts to combat Hamas terrorism.
